Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 29, 2026
This policy explains how Ariwis uses cookies and similar technologies. By using the Service, you consent to the use of cookies described here.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over time. Ariwis uses only essential cookies — we do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
2. Cookies we use
- Authentication cookies — keep you signed in so you do not need to re-enter your credentials on every page. These are removed when you sign out.
- Session cookies — maintain your browsing session and route state while you navigate the platform. These expire when you close your browser.
- Security cookies — protect against fraudulent sign-in attempts and help keep your account safe.
3. Local storage
We also use browser local storage to hold your authentication session token so the app can confirm your sign-in state. This data never leaves your device except to authenticate requests to our servers.
4. Third parties
Our payment provider may set its own cookies during the checkout process. These are governed by the provider's own policy. Ariwis does not control and is not responsible for those cookies.
5. Managing cookies
Because we only use essential cookies, you do not need to change any browser settings to use Ariwis. If you prefer to block all cookies, your browser settings can do this — but signing in and applying for rentals will not work without authentication cookies.
6. Changes to this policy
If we introduce new cookies, we will update this policy and the date at the top of the page. We will never add advertising or tracking cookies without first updating this policy.
